Mt. Kotoishi

Mt. Kotoishi (546 m) is a scenically superb mountain chosen for the top tier of the “100 Best Yamaguchi Nature Spots” (sponsored by newspaper companies, etc.). The summit has a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. The mountain is also popular as a hiking course. Halfway up the mountain are two yamazakura trees, and they are famous in the prefecture as the most prominent old trees there.
